We are not big movie theater people. We will usually just wait and see something after it comes out on DVD. The kids have been to 2 movies now. The week after Christmas we took them to their 1st movie - the new Muppet movie. It was a packed theater. They did really well for about an hour and then they wanted to get up. We went to the potty and came back. We ate a whole bucket of popcorn. That was about the only way to keep them in there for the whole movie. They have been still seeing the commercials for the movie and will ask to go see it again.

We decided to give it another try and see Beauty & the Beast. We didn't go to the 3-D one because we knew they wouldn't keep their glasses on for the whole movie.

We got our popcorn and was ready.

Once again they made it about an hour and started getting fidgety. We decided to let them just run around the room.

As you can see, we were the only ones in the theater. They enjoyed going all the way to the front and running back. They would stop and watch for a minute and then off again.
Evan had to get in my lap during the kissing scene. He hides his eyes anytime a "sweet" scene or a pretty girl comes on the screen.

We saw an preview that one of their favorite movies is coming to the theater later this year - Finding Nemo. Maybe by then they can make it through a whole movie. Just make sure we get plenty of popcorn.
Today we had some visitors. The ladies that work with Matthew stopped by on their way to the Mark of the Potter.
They showed them their toys and even had to play a quick ring around the rosie with Anna.

Thanks for stopping by and come again soon!
