Halloween 2012

Daddy out did himself this year with the pumpkins.  The kids picked out what they wanted and daddy did the carving.

 This year we went as characters from the Wizard of Oz.  

Ellie wanted to be the mean witch, but we talked her into being Glinda the Good Witch of the North

Matthew was the Tin Man.  Matthew is such a good dad & husband!

And I was the Scarecrow.  I love dressing up with the kids.  We are already talking about next year's costume, but they will probably want to pick out their own costumes by next year.

First stop was Granddaddy & Grandmother's house.  They also got to see Sylvia & Joseph too.  We got candy & our annual jars of green beans.

Next stop was Naw's house.  

 Granny, Gail & Kinsley were excited to see us too.  

Hazelween was our final stop.  We ate some dinner before all the fun began.  

 We had some helpers take the kids around to the different stations.  

Of course the duckies were still a favorite.

There's No Place like Home!

Race Day

Last week we joined Matthew at Road Atlanta to see some race cars practicing.  The kids really love the movie Cars so they thought it was cool.  

Evan thought it was too loud

 They loved rolling down the hill where were watching the cars go by.  

 Granddaddy tagged along with us.  

 They definitely had to get a picture with the Hertz car.  

 They even got to sit on the Muscle Milk racer and this car ended up winning the Championship for the season.  

It's always fun to see daddy at work.  

Pumpkin Patch 2012

Today we went on our annual trip to Burt's Pumpkin Farm.  The kids were so excited.  

All this little boy wanted to do was push the big pumpkins and pick up and throw the smaller pumpkins.

 We went on the hayride this year.  This picture is blurry, but still so cute.  

 Can you believe we are all looking!  

It was another fun filled day!

Charlotte's Princess Day

 On September 22 we took Charlotte out for her special day.  She wanted to go see baby dolls.  Babyland General Hospital was just the place take her.  We left Ellie & Evan with Naw, Huck & Darla for the day and headed to see some babies.  

So Sweet

 As soon as we got there they were having a delivery.  We got to see mommy cabbage deliver a baby girl.  

You rocked a baby.  

 You gave a baby a bath.  

 You fixed some hair.

 Took a baby for a stroll.

 Came home with a doll named Paige.  

 After we left Babyland we ate at Moe's and Charlotte loved her taco.  We also did some shopping.  

As you can see Charlotte was a Princess for the day.  She wore that crown pretty much all day.  Charlotte you are mommy and daddy's little princess.  You are such a girly thing and are so sweet.  You love being the baby and I hope you always want to be our baby.
