Trip down South

Two weeks ago we loaded up the truck & camper and headed south.  Matthew was going to work in Orlando, so we went with him.  Of course we had to go see Mickey too.  We stayed at the Disney campground again.  We left around 3:00 pm and was going to stop around 10 to spend the night somewhere.  The kids were doing so well we stopped to get gas and changed them in their pajamas.  They finally went to sleep around 10:30.  Going in to Orlando you have to stop at Toll booths and it is really bright with lights.  Of course Ellie woke up and then she started seeing signs for Disney World.  She was so Excited and could not go back to sleep!  We got to the campground at 12:30 am and Evan & Charlotte woke up.  We finally got in our spot and of course they wanted to play with all their camper toys.  We got in the bed before 2:00.  They slept till about 9:45 that morning.  Then they were ready for Disney World.  We brought the golf cart with us and we explored the campground.  When we stayed at the campground in 2011 we had no free time, so this was all new to us.

Eating breakfast at the campground
We took the boat over to the Contemporary Hotel then headed to the monorail and Polynesian Resort for a yummy Dole Whip.
1st we had to take some pictures.

Try on some funny hats.

Oh he will hate this picture one day!
We had a few days of just playing around.  The first few days it was warm enough to go to the pool. They had a great slide that Evan & Ellie loved it.

This little fair skinned red head said I don't want to swim I just want to lay in the sun.  Poor thing doesn't realize she will never be able to lay in the sun.

Charlotte & I played Disney music trivia while they swam.
For dinner we grilled hamburgers & hot dogs and enjoyed watching the horses go by.

After dinner we headed to Chip and Dale's sing along and campfire.

We got to see Chip that night.
 Ate a few roasted marshmallows.
Then we headed to the lake to watch the fireworks from Magic Kingdom.

We were so excited because the next day we were going to Hollywood Studios.

The Greatest Show on Earth

A few weeks ago we went to the circus.  The kids got free tickets when they were born, so we decided to use them this year.
Since Victoria had never been to the circus we took her with us.
Everyone picked an elephant as a souvenir.

So excited to see the elephants
Eating some cotton candy
Sharing with Daddy

Victoria and her elephant

The Big Cats
This was their favorite part of the show.
We had lots of fun and was glad Victoria got to join in on the fun with us.

Actual Birthdays

On Feb. 14th we celebrated Matthew's birthday with blueberry heart biscuits.
Poor thing has to share his birthday with Valentine's day and he bought everyone gifts.

Heading to lunch for the birthday boy I had to get some pictures of the kids in their Valentine outfits.

Here we are at lunch with Matthew's birthday sundae.
For his present he got a golf cart.
The next day was the triplet's birthday.  We got them up and opened some gifts and cards they got in the mail.

We had them a surprise in the backyard.  We played for a little bit before heading to town.
We had to pick up their cakes for their party and they were so excited to see them.
Next up was lunch at their favorite - Chick-fil-A

They even got to go behind the counter and fixed their own ice cream.
We went by Grandmother & Granddaddy's for presents.  They got some more Toy Story characters.
For dinner we made their favorite meal - spaghetti & meatballs.

Cupcake & singing Happy Birthday time

We reminisced a little and they tried on some of their premie clothes.
Mommy had to get a picture of her 3 little babies sitting in her lap.
