May in Review

We had lots of fun in the month of May.  We celebrated Mother's day.

We all went to the Braves game

I celebrated a birthday and the kids wanted me to have a Pluto party.
Pin the bone on Pluto game
Memorial day weekend we were Red, White & Blue

It was Vacation Bible School time again.

We went camping at Lake Jocassee with college friends from Presbyterian College
It was beautiful and we had fun on the lake

We rented a boat and took turns taking it out.

 The tried out tubing.

Charlotte didn't tube she helped daddy drive
They had fun on these monkey bars they could do on their own.  They were low enough where they were not scared to fall.

It was a fun month.

Dance Recital

In May after we got back from the cruise it was dance recital time for the girls.

They love the Colbert girls.  My 2 were the only ones in their class in the morning, but was in the same dance routine with the night class.  Avery was in the night class.

On stage ready to perform
The theme of the recital was The Lion King.  Their tap dance was to "Hakuna Matata"

Their ballet routine was "Can you feel the love tonight"

Naw & Granddaddy came to see them perform.

Daddy & Mrs. Jessica gave them some flowers and they each got a trophy.

Castaway Cay

The last full day was at Disney's private island - Castaway Cay.  This was the view from our balcony while waiting to dock.
We finally made it off the ship and was greeted by lots of friends.
The sun was in Evan's eyes and he was crying about it.
Donald helped him out!

We rented some tubes and a float, but didn't use them very much.  It was windy, so it would take you down the beach unless someone was holding on to you.

There are photographers everywhere.  This was the only picture we actually bought.
They played in the sand.
We had some yummy lunch.
Heading back to the ship

We came back early so Matthew & I could watch a movie.  It ended up starting earlier than it was posted, so we just went to the pool instead.  It was Matthew's turn to ride the Aquaduck with everyone.
Daddy & Charlotte
Daddy & Ellie
Daddy & Evan
They loved this splash area.

We also loved the "hot pool".  The floor was glass, so you could see the ocean below you.
It was the last night and we decided to just order room service instead of getting ready for dinner.  We were the only ones in the pool, such a treat.
The kids played at the kids club for awhile before the last show of the week.  When we got back to the room Mickey had left them a special treat.  A pillowcase signed by the characters!

We had a wonderful week and I hope they always remember this trip because I know I will!
