To end our summer we headed to Myrtle Beach. The kids absolutely love going to Ocean Lakes or as they call it "Sandy's".
The first day we went to the pool for a little bit while waiting on Terry & Terri to come over.
These 2 are little fishes in a swimming pool. They love swimming and look no floaties.
Charlotte is still a little unsure, but she is getting braver.
Once Aunt & Uncle got there we headed to the beach. This is the first year we have been during the regular season and the beach was packed. Evan & daddy had fun hunting shark teeth.
The water was really rough, so they didn't stay in the water too much.
The next morning it was raining so we went and had some crab legs for lunch.
After lunch the rain had stopped, so we headed to Pirateland where Terry & Terri was staying. They have a new kiddie pool that was really cool.
They also like the lazy river. Charlotte & Uncle Terry stayed in there the most.
The kids stayed with Terry & Terri and we went out for dinner and an ice cream.
The next day it rained again, so we went to the mall and the kids jumped on the jumpy jumps for hours.
Finally we went to the beach around 5:00 pm.
During the busy season everyone cruises on their golf carts. The kids would eat an ice cream and give everyone high fives.
The next day we were back at Pirateland because cousin Stuart was there.
Once again it was rainy, so we went for a before lunch ice cream!!
Later we headed to the beach. They had fun playing in the sand this year.
We enjoyed a yummy seafood dinner with Stuart.
We did a lot of hiding under umbrellas with all the rain.
Nothing like a sandy sandwich for lunch!
Triple surfers
After a day at the beach we headed to play some golf before our week was over.
The last night they went cruising with Terry, Terri & Stuart.
Before leaving we had to stay good-bye to Sandy.
We were happy to be home and Fiona & Zona were happy for us to be home too.
