We got home from the beach on Wednesday and on Thursday the kids had orientation at school.
The principal was waiting at the front to meet them.
We walked in their room and quickly found their seats.
Ellie's teacher must be pretty smart. She had Ellie stealing the cookies from the cookie jar!
Meet their paraprofessional Mrs. Hubley
and their teacher Mrs. Ferguson.
Before bed we read stories about going to Kindergarten. They were in bed by 7:30. I don't think they have every been to bed that early!
The next morning their backpacks were ready
and I was packing lunch boxes.
Daddy was home so he made them breakfast. Eggs, ham and toast for Evan.
A breakfast burrito for Charlotte
and he made a special trip to McDonald's for Ellie favorite oatmeal.
Of course no special day is complete without tons of pictures.
Where did the time go?
I'm sure we will be in 2027 before we know it.
Making their way to their classroom.
Saying our goodbyes.
I was the mom who was crying when I left.
When we picked them up we asked what was their favorite part of the day? Ellie said playing with the kitchen set. Evan said eating lunch and Charlotte said eating too.
For an after school treat we went and got a cupcake!
It was raining that morning, so when we got home I took some more pictures outside.
They had a great first day and love school.
