Christmas Eve Activities

Christmas Eve we got up and ready to head to Lisa & Joe's.  

 We always stop at Krispy Kreme for our dozen of Christmas doughnuts.  

 The kids just love their cousins.  

 Here's Granddaddy with his grand kids.  We know Grandmother was looking down for heaven smiling.  

 Ready for presents!

 They loved their itty bittys from Michelle.  

 When we got home they opened their gifts they bought each other at school.  It was really sweet to see what they picked out for each other.  

 Evan was a smart boy and bought both girls the same thing.  

 Then it was time to make dinner.  We always make individual pizzas on Christmas Eve.  

 While waiting on the pizzas to cook they wrote their letters to Santa.  

 After dinner we made cookies for Santa.  

 Of course we had to sample them to make sure they were okay for Santa.  

 We got in our Christmas pajamas

 So excited to go to bed!!!!

 We put the cookies, carrots & milk by the fire.

and they went right to sleep!

Merry Christmas from Triple Smith.  

Angel in Heaven

My sweet mom went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2014.  

She suffered from Frontotemporal dementia for many years.  Now she is healed in the presence of the Lord.  She was a great mom and a wonderful grandmother.  We will miss her dearly.  

Thanksgiving

The Friday before Thanksgiving the kids had their Thanksgiving party at school. They cut & painted shirts to be like Indians.  

 Earlier in the day they made butter and I came in later to make cornmeal pancakes with them.  

 The really liked the pancakes

 and Charlotte loved the butter.  

Thanksgiving morning they colored while watching the parade.  

This year since mom wasn't doing well we had lunch over at mom & dad's house.  

We were thankful for one last Thanksgiving with her.
