Smith Christmas

The big man left them lots of stuff.  

 They came down around 8:15.  

 So excited!

 After opening their Santa gifts they opened their stockings.  

 Even Zona got in his stocking.  

 Warming up by my Christmas present.  We've lived here for 8 years and finally got gas logs.  

 We took a break and ate some breakfast.

 We opened gifts from each other.  

 and had to model their new pajamas

 and wigs.  

 Fiona got a new bed to keep her warm in the garage.  

 Then it was playtime for them and nap time for Zona.

 Granddaddy made it back from Lisa's in time for lunch.  

 Then we went and took Grandmother some pretty Christmas flowers.  I'm sure she was having a great 1st Christmas in heaven.

 The girls always just want gift cards or money, so we make them play games to win their presents.  

 Evan made Huck a treasure map to find his present.  

Another fun & exciting Christmas!

Christmas Eve Activities

Christmas Eve we got up and ready to head to Lisa & Joe's.  

 We always stop at Krispy Kreme for our dozen of Christmas doughnuts.  

 The kids just love their cousins.  

 Here's Granddaddy with his grand kids.  We know Grandmother was looking down for heaven smiling.

 They loved their itty bittys from Michelle.  

 When we got home they opened their gifts they bought each other at school.  It was really sweet to see what they picked out for each other.  

 Evan was a smart boy and bought both girls the same thing.  

 Then it was time to make dinner.  We always make individual pizzas on Christmas Eve.  

 While waiting on the pizzas to cook they wrote their letters to Santa.  

 After dinner we made cookies for Santa.  

 Of course we had to sample them to make sure they were okay for Santa.  

 We got in our Christmas pajamas

 So excited to go to bed!!!!

Angel in Heaven

My sweet mom went to be with the Lord on December 3, 2014.  

She suffered from Frontotemporal dementia for many years.  Now she is healed in the presence of the Lord.  She was a great mom and a wonderful grandmother.  We will miss her dearly.
