Legoland

Waking up for the day of fun at Legoland.
Heading to breakfast and had to dance in the elevator.
They had a restaurant in the hotel that had a breakfast buffet and they enjoyed it.

They even got balloons at breakfast.

Since we were staying at the hotel we got to go in the park 30 minutes early,
We headed to Dino Island first and rode the Coastersaurus.

The Safari Trek was next.  We got to see lots of animals made out of legos.

We got to see the Lego Movie set.

It was really cool to see all the scenes from the movie.

Double Decker Couch
The Kid Power Tower was a fun part.  They had to pull themselves up to the top
then let go.
We rode the Sky Cruiser next (behind Charlotte)
You had to peddle the little car around the track.

Next up was driving school.  It was a really cool set up.  They had lights, stop signs and police if they didn't stop.

Charlotte drove on the wrong side of the road a lot!
There were so many cool lego statues.  Of course we had to get a picture with Chewie.

While Evan & Matthew rode the Dragon roller coaster the girls rode some horses on The Royal Joust.

Evan had to try it out while Charlotte rode the roller coaster.
The robotic arm was crazy.  It has different levels and will twist, turn and flip you upside down.

Ellie loved it, me not so much.

These are blurry, but Evan, Charlotte & Matthew rode Lego Technic Coaster twice

The last area of the day was Miniland USA where they have different areas of USA made of Legos.
The Capital
Pier 39 San Francisco

New York
As we were leaving we saw the Pirate Lego Man.
We loved just walking a few steps back to the hotel.
Everything was "Awesome" at Legoland.

Head on down the road

On Wednesday before we left Disney we went to learn how to draw Mickey Mouse.

They did really good and we left the pictures and they got Mickey Mouse to sign them and they mailed them back to us.  A very fun souvenir.
Lisa, Joe, Michelle & Victoria flew back home and we headed down the road toward Carlsbad.  We stopped to play on the beach.

We played at the beach for awhile then headed to a pier.

There were lots of pelicans waiting on the fishermen to feed them.
We ate at another Ruby's at the end of the pier.
On this day it was my mom's birthday.  Her first in heaven, so we left her a message for her to see.
Our next stop was Legoland Hotel.
They were very excited.
They were in germ overload!

The kids loved the hotel and all the fun things around the hotel.
Even in the room they had a treasure chest that had a new Lego toy for them everyday.
They loved their beds.
I think our bed was made out of Legos it was so hard.
The elevator was lots of fun.  Once the doors closed fun disco music came on and everyone would dance.  It was a fun surprise the first time we got on it.  I think every elevator should do that because everyone was always smiling when the doors opened.

Tomorrow we go to Legoland park.
