Swimming with Dolphins - Day 5 Cozumel

Since we didn't port in Costa Maya we went on to Cozumel and docked there for the night.  After breakfast it was time to go to Dolphinaris to swim with the dolphins.

Ellie loved every minute of it and she even rode on Matthew's back while swimming with the dolphin.

 Charlotte was excited about it, but once we got in there she wasn't too sure.  She finally warmed up to Marina & baby Marina, but no riding on them for her.  

 Evan was a little scared too.  He did smile for the camera.  

It was a fun experience.  

Once we got back on the ship we had to get us an ice cream cone.  

Evan was super excited to see this guy.  

Captain America told Evan to protect his sisters.  

We had to get cleaned up and get ready for Pirate night!  Last Halloween I bought costume just for this night.  

We had to see Peter Pan again and we even taunted Captain Hook that was next to us.  

The kids didn't know who Capt. Jack Sparrow was, but we did get him to send a birthday message to Michelle.

After dinner daddy & the kids went to see the Muppet movie.  Mommy had to lay down again since the ship left port and we were in rough waters again.

 I hope the kids remember this day, it was fun day.  

Day 4 - A rough day at sea

A few times during the week they had a Princess gathering when all the princesses come out all together.  We went to watch that this morning after breakfast.  

 Then we headed to the pool

They loved the Huey, Dewey & Louie splash park.

 The pools were tiny, so it felt like a koi pond when they got crowded!

 We had to take one at a time on the Aquaduck.  We had so much fun riding on a slide around the top of the ship looking at the ocean.  

We were suppose to dock in Costa Maya, Mexico around 1:00.  Around 12:30 the captain got on the speaker and said it was too rough to dock.  Here is what we saw of Costa Maya.  

This is when the fun began.  Since we had planned to get off the ship we went ahead and ate lunch.  While eating the ship was rocking back and forth like crazy.  It hit me hard and I got sea sick.  I went and took a Dramamine and laid down while Matthew took the kids to the kids club.  We wanted to go watch a movie, so we head to the theater.  The ship was swaying so bad and I was feeling terrible.  I watched about 20 minutes then some people wanted to come down our aisle, so I had to get up to let them by.  Big mistake.  My equilibrium got messed up again and I had to run.  Matthew watched the rest of the movie while I slept.

 This cute little guy didn't make it through dinner.  

 We were waiting on our appetizer and Evan said his head hurt.  He sat in my lap and as soon as they put my plate of food in front of my he started gagging.  Our table was right next to the door, so Matthew grabbed him to find a bathroom.  Poor thing threw up all over him and daddy.  The girls and I finished dinner and the servers sent the boys' dinner up to room service.

After some rest and a peanut butter sandwich he felt well enough to go watch the evening show.  

He did get sick again in the middle of the night, but he doesn't remember any of that.  It was a rough day and night.
