The first week of June we headed to Myrtle Beach. This time we had 2 more come with us. Zona came to the beach and so did my dad. Zona loved Ocean Lakes too. Him and Matthew would get up early and walk to the beach and then take a nap in the lounge chairs until the rest of us got up.
The kids loved having him with us this trip.
We were right close to the beach and for a few days we didn't have anyone in front of us so we had a beach front spot.
This year they each got a boogie board and had lots of fun. Charlotte was the most surprising. She would get way out there and play in the water. The swimming pool was another story.
One night we ate at Dirty Don's
then went to Broadway at the Beach.

We took bikes this year and they liked riding them to the playground.
We decided to try the dinner show Pirates Voyage this year.
We all really enjoyed it. They loved the show!
Zona loved riding in the golf cart. He especially liked going cruising at night. Everyone thought he was the pretty dog ever.

We usually went to the beach after lunch when it was low tide.
Charlotte has always been scared of swimming. We tried to bribe her to learn how to swim, but she would scream and scream. She mainly stayed in the kiddie pool.
By the end of the week she was finally putting her face down in the water. A huge accomplishment!
