Swimming this summer

We did a lot of swimming this summer.  Ellie & Evan are very good at swimming and really love it.  Charlotte still has a love/hate relationship with it.  It started out bad, but by the end of the summer she was putting her head down and actually swimming.  She still doesn't like the deep end, but she has improved so much.  In June they took swimming lessons from Mrs. Kristy who taught them when they were little.  

 Charlotte wouldn't go to the deep end, but Mrs. Kristy would work with her in the shallow.

 Swimming is always more fun when you do it with friends.  

Charlotte's 1st tooth

We tried many things to get her tooth out.  You could see her other tooth, but it just wouldn't push the other one out.  We even tried a Sugar Daddy and it didn't work.  

 On the 15th she finally let Daddy get it out without even knowing he pulled.  

 There were some tears, but sweet Ellie is always there to comfort her.

 She got a glittery $5 bill and a little Merida doll in her pillow.  

1st Graders

On Friday we started back to school.  We now have three 1st graders!

 I think they are ready for 1st grade!

They had a great first day and we ended the day with a treat from Sonic.

Wednesday we had open house for 1st grade

 We found their seats

 and Mrs. Lomax.

 We also found Jared.  

 On Thursday we went and had a back to school dinner.  Yummy turkey & dressing at Cracker Barrel.  

A great way to start a new school year.  

Fun, Fun, Fun before school starts

Summer is almost over, so we packed in some fun.  

 We took the kids to a drive-in movie.  They had fun playing on the swing set and waiting for the movie to start.

 They went in their pajamas and were ready for some Minions.  

One day after art camp we went to the splash park in town.  

 It was a red hot day.  

We also snuck in some Chuck E. Cheese for some playtime.  

 Then met up with dad for some dinner.  

Next up was Whitewater

Last up before school was another geocaching trip to Tallulah Gorge and a picnic.
