Lordy, Lordy, Matthew is 40!

For Matthew's birthday weekend we went to Kings Mountain, NC to see his aunt & uncle.
We went over to his cousin Reid's house.
We surprised him with a cheesecake.

The kids went with Terry & Terri to have some birthday fun for them.  Matthew & I went to P.F. Changs for Valentine's dinner and some shopping.
The next day was Valentine's Day & Matthew's birthday.
Matthew's aunt & uncle and his new Charlotte Hornets hoodie.
For his birthday I had his family & friends write stories about him and I made him a picture memory book.
We ate lunch at Chuy's for yummy tex-mex.
When we got home my dad had put Over the Hill signs all over the house.

Happy 40th Birthday Honey!

Basketball season

In December Evan started playing basketball.  It was his first season and he really enjoyed it.  He was really good at running fast down the court and getting his arms up.

The life of being sisters at the courts.

Great job #2!

Snow Tubing

At the end of January we went snow tubing with a group from church.  It was lots of fun.

The girls didn't like pulling their tubes up the mountain.
The biggest kid out there!!

You always have to have snacks!

They have such good friends.

100th day

After a few days of missing school for a little ice we finally got to celebrate the 100th day of school.  These three were so excited.
This spunky old lady makes me laugh so hard.  She loves this day!
He is the grumpy old man.
What a sweet little old Granny
Our friend was able to get some pictures of them at school.

I think this might be the last year they dress up and they are already sad about it.

Dolls & Football

On Jan. 3rd we went our separate ways.  The boys went to a Falcons game and the girls went on a shopping trip.
The girls looked cute in matching dresses with Grace & Scarlett.

We ate a healthy lunch of salads
and of course we went to Target.

We went to American Girl to just look around.

We stopped at Toys R Us and got their dolls puppies.
Evan invited Cole and his dad to join them.  The boys had lunch at Waffle House.

The Falcons ended up losing, but the boys had fun!
