After breakfast we left Legoland and headed to San Diego. The zoo was the prime reason to go to San Diego. This zoo is huge. We were there most of the day and we still didn't see everything.
The koalas were so cute.

My favorite part of the zoo was the polar bears.
The were very active - walking around and swimming.
Charlotte's favorite is the hippo.
There are only 13 zoos in America that have pandas, so they were making a big deal about it. Atlanta zoo has pandas and you can see them a lot better. This one had her back to us the entire time.
I thought this bird was so pretty, it is a Australian Rainbow Lorikeet
The orangutans were very active too.
This male carried that sack around like a blanket.

I love 50's diners so I found this one online. After the zoo we headed to Corvette diner for dinner.

While waiting on our food the girls had their hair done.
They played oldies and every so often the staff would start dancing. Ellie had to join in!
It was lots of fun and a great way to end our trip.
