For the California trip the kids were only going to miss 3 days of school because they had 2 days off for President's Day. Well they ended up not missing any days because school was cancelled the entire time we were gone due to ice and snow. We were a little bummed we didn't get to play in the snow while we were gone. They went back to school that Monday and then they were out the rest of the week again for more snow! We celebrated with snowman pancakes.
It snowed again the next day.
