We caught a small break with an overcast morning so I switched up our plans and we headed to the beach. Ellie was ready to play. She ran up and down the beach trying to steal other peoples stuff and playing with other kids. She was not as interested in the water which was probably a good thing. Here she is playing on the beach.
Here's Evan crashing the girls snack party. 
Evan was even less scared of the water on the second day. We were there less than 10 minutes and he had a big face plant which caused a cut under his eye. He did not seem to mind getting completely covered with sand and enjoyed going out into the water to get washed off. Michelle dug a big sand pit and Evan enjoyed getting in it with her. 
Charlotte still wanted no part of the sand or water. She was happy just sitting on Michelle's body board. We even gave here a little ride. She loved it, until Evan came over and took over her ride.
