Let's Try the Pool
We decided to give the beach a break on the second day and head to the pool. The place we were staying at had an indoor pool. We thought it would be overcrowded since it was so hot and sunny. We were surprised to find only a couple people. This was a whole lot easier than the beach. Yes, we had to still put on 3 swimmy diapers and 3 bathing suits, but no sun screen. We took the short walk to the pool and had a nice hour or so splashing around in the water. Charlotte did not like the water but got use to it in no time. It was not long until we had our three little crabs floating around.

The next picture will end up costing me some money. They had a lazy river - a long lazy river. Jennifer is convince that she is going to get one in her back yard one day. I told her that Hazel Creek would have to do.
Please allow a moment of silence. One of the crabbie floats did not survive the trip. His leg got pulled out and I was unable to repair him. We even had our own personal veterinarian with us - but he did not specialize in crustacean.

I am so sorry to hear about the crab. Please accept our condolences. Sounds like vacation was a success otherwise! : )
