"Look at me - no IV"

Viewing pictures of the babies in the NICU might be uncomfortable to some people. The babies do have a lot of gidgets and gadgets attached to them. Jenn and I have gotten use to all the different items - we look past them to a day when they will be medical accessory free. Today Charlotte got rid of one of her accessories. She has been doing good on her feeding, so they were able to remove the IV line that she has been sporting since birth. Anyone who has ever had an IV line in for a couple days knows how much a relief it is to get it out. I can imagine that is what Charlotte has been thinking all day! Here's a shot of the IV less little girl.

She is trying to hear all the compliments on her no-iv!

Here's Evan showing of his little grin. Nice legs and a cute smile - ladies better watch out!

Here's a close up on Ellie - She was wide eyed and ready to pose!

No other major changes today. Evan will probably be next to get rid of his IV - maybe by the weekend. Ellie a little longer. All three got held today - Jenn the E's and Me with Charlotte.

Be prepared for tomorrows big question!!!!

  1. Gadgets or not they are just perfect. And do I see red hair on all three? well Evan has his hat on but looking back it does too.
Big Question? I already check a hundred times a day if you have posted anything, now I will be glued to this computer all day tomorrow.

  4. Shelby had to wear those little "sun" glasses for weeks in her incubator. I remember scrubbing up everytime before we could go in the ICU... I probably had the cleanest and softest arms and hands ever!

    I see they've inherited Matthews red. =)
